Overview
The Science & Engineering Center serves as a physical and electronic magnet in support of excellence in learning and in research in the science and engineering disciplines at USC, while promoting collaboration across disciplinary boundaries and beyond traditional laboratory and classroom environments. The Center supports the mission of the University by
- Providing access and support for electronic resources
- Providing access to conventional printed materials that are not available electronically
- Seeking to provide seamless access to information to all extents possible
- Providing an environment that enhances the productivity of individuals in the science and engineering community
- Providing an environment and appropriate resources to encourage communication and collaboration between the various disciplines within the sciences and engineering, and between the science and engineering disciplines and all other disciplines at the University
- Enhancing the overall sense of intellectual community at the University
