Overview
The Arts & Humanities Team facilitates, promotes, and engages in collection development and provision of public services, including reference and instruction across the arts and humanities in support of seamless access to library collections.
The purpose of the Arts & Humanities Team is threefold:
- To maximize existing resources for the purpose of a centralized, comprehensive, holistic approach to collection development, reference, and instructionin the support of the research and curricular needs of the Arts and Humanities Schools and Departments
- To build a cross-disciplinary knowledge base among team members and with our colleagues on other teams
- To provide an underlying structure for a unified intellectual conception of the library so it plays a defined integral role in support of the USC and USC Libraries strategic plans
